These works were part of a collaborative exhibition, Built, at Linton and Kay in the Perth CBD. They were made using terracotta, hebel stone, concrete and earth gathered from the hills of Perth to the coast. I employed Chris Vescovo, a concreter, to render the blocks in concrete while I assisted and oversaw the sections closest to the detailed areas. The forms referenced different architectural icons, now gone, in Perth and the colours and materials; concrete, terracotta and earth, connected those forms to a sense of place. This show was organised and curated by artist Matthew McVeigh.

Sculpture at Bathers 2015
This work was installed at Bathers Beach in Fremantle as part of the exhibition, Sculpture at Bathers 2015. I reused an old work in order to engage with the public. The work incorporated various materials collected from demolition sites. People could peer in through the sculpture to see the debris together with drawings and paintings. The public was also encouraged to mark the outside of the sculpture. My intention was to facilitate a discussion about form, material and community, and to have fun.

This work was developed during a three month residency with Residencia Corazon. This residency space is based in La Plata, about 40 minutes south of Buenos Aires. The work considered information evident in the city such as graffiti and architectural forms, particularly the relationship between the older houses with the newer, encroaching apartment blocks.
